Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using FirmwareCV. By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
FirmwareCV ("the Service", "we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered resume rewriting platform designed for engineering professionals. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyse, restructure, and enhance resume content submitted by users ("you", "User").
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no representations or warranties that the Service will meet your specific requirements or produce any particular employment outcome.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the AI output, failure to obtain employment, technical issues beyond our reasonable control, or change of mind after purchase.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms. All prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Single Rewrite licence: Grants one (1) resume rewrite. The licence is consumed upon successful generation of output regardless of whether the User downloads, copies, or uses the output.
Monthly licence: Grants up to five (5) resume rewrites within a rolling 30-day period from date of purchase. Unused rewrites do not roll over. The monthly licence does not auto-renew unless explicitly stated at checkout.
In exceptional circumstances — such as verified technical failure on our part preventing delivery of the Service — we may, at our sole discretion, issue a replacement access code. This is not a right and does not constitute a refund policy.
Upon successful payment, you will receive a unique access code. This code is personal, non-transferable, and may not be shared, sold, or distributed to any third party.
We reserve the right to immediately revoke any access code that we reasonably believe is being shared or used fraudulently, without refund or notice.
Access codes expire as follows: Single Rewrite codes expire after one (1) successful rewrite or twelve (12) months from issuance, whichever comes first. Monthly codes expire thirty (30) days from issuance.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing the output before submitting it to any employer.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FIRMWARECV, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, LOSS OF DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or SEK 199, whichever is lower.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
FirmwareCV makes absolutely no guarantee, representation, or warranty that use of the Service will result in employment, interviews, callbacks, or any other employment-related outcome. The Service is a writing assistance tool only.
Employment outcomes depend on numerous factors entirely outside our control, including but not limited to market conditions, employer preferences, candidate qualifications, and competition. You acknowledge and agree that we shall have no liability whatsoever for any employment outcome or lack thereof.
You retain full ownership of the resume content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
The AI-generated output is provided to you for your personal use. You own the output generated from your submission. We do not claim ownership of the rewritten resume.
The Service itself, including its design, code, prompts, algorithms, and branding, is our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or replicate any part of the Service without our written permission.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FirmwareCV and its operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of any third party.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve any dispute informally for a period of thirty (30) days.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
